AHEM,
there is absolutely no such thing as "smoked" Hungarian paprikash. Hungarian paprikash is made with sweet Hungarian paprika, and no other kind. Smoked paprika is a very recent invention in culinary history, and although it is also now available in Hungary, it definitely was not used in my mom's or grandma's recipes. Besides, I tried the Geico caveman recipe myself just out of curiosity (which was ridiculously vague in its instructions), and although it smelled nice while cooking and didn't taste terrible, I didn't think the smoke flavor went too well with the chicken. Smoked paprika probably goes better with beef dishes.

Boil the brats in Coca Cola.
While grilling, baste in Try Me Tiger Sauce. Turn frequently and every time you turn a brat, take it off, dip it in the tiger sauce, and put back on grill on other side. This will thicken the sauce as it grills.

This is my tradition tailgating at Charger Games. (i got the recipe from a friend that makes them tailgating at Ravens games). Been doing it for years. It is always a hit. everyone ALWAYS asks for the recipe AND everyone always asks if i'm making the brats when i invite them to the tailgate.

It is kind of a sweet and spicy taste. not too sweet, not too spicy, but very unique.

Try it.
